Visit www.pwc.com/experiencedcareers to learn about our culture and what PwC can offer you.Responsibilities Include: Function as a key member of our San Francisco based Health Policy consulting team Work closely with PWC Consultants and external clients to analyze and interpret data to help make valuable healthcare and Medicaid coverage decisions Produce customized reports and ad-hoc data analysis on healthcare data Assist other staff in read and loading raw incoming client data and maintain internal databases Program in SAS on both a mainframe and personal computer, and provide on-the-job training to less experienced staff Use MS Excel for report generation, data manipulation and complex model development Work primarily on government healthcare projects and other health-policy related projects Work towards providing direct consulting to clients.We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package. REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in math, actuarial science, health economics, health services research or other related field required. Masters degree (completed or in progress) in a quantitative, Public Policy or Public Health field preferred. Working toward attaining FSA or ASA designation preferred.
Essential Requirements:
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will have 4- 6 years prior health care data management or actuarial consulting experience. Working toward attaining FSA or ASA designation preferred Ability to interact with clients extensively, desire to grow into project management role & mentor others. Will consider insurance background if other requirements are met.
