This position is part of the re-organized Knowledge Services Organization (KSO), a PwC internal function. The strategic vision of the KSO is to support PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC's) aspiration to be the preeminent knowledge-based professional services firm.The Benchmarking Development Manager will develop and enhance new and existing PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Best Practices (GBP) quantitative benchmarking studies based on the needs of the practice. In addition, they will have responsibility managing staff in executing these responsibilities.Primary Areas of Responsibilities:New development
Develop new and enhance existing benchmarking studies for key processes and industries working with subject matter experts (and other key stakeholders) within the Firm and leveraging GBP’s proven benchmarking methodology. This includes:
Identification of performance measures and the data elements associated with the measures
Ensuring performance measures and questionnaires are global in nature and are applicable to companies operating in all parts of the world.
Developing easy-to-use questionnaires (including questions and instructions) to enable collection of data for defined performance measures.
Developing validation requirements for the data elements.
Developing report presentation, including charts and narratives.
Ability to use a broad range of research tools to gather and summarize information that can be used when developing the tools.
Leverage existing content available in other benchmarking studies (internaland external to PwC), information from PwC subject matter experts and Global Best Practices knowledgebase and its existing tools and studies.Operations
Provide benchmarking support for data collection initiatives (DCI). Includes correspondence with participants and sponsors. Look for opportunities to increase the data in our benchmarking tools.
Assist in identifying requirements for development of online benchmarking platform.Practice liason
Build relationships with the different channels (industry, service line, etc.) within PwC to share ideas and ensure needs are being met by maintaining awareness of channels' key objectives.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or mathematicsEssential Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of business experience, preferably with some experience in professional services industry Operational and financial consulting or auditing experience Experience in the accounting, audit, and finance environment Solid knowledge of business processes (ability to think through inputs, activities and outputs of processes) Experience in performance measurement principles and techniques
