Financial Analyst

We are a rapidly growing magazine publishing company with a 10+ year operating history. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles with locations in 7 states.

We are seeking a highly motivate Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will work directly with the Vice President of Finance and the President/Chief Financial Officer on accounting projects. This is an excellent opening for an experienced accounting or financial professional to thrive in a highly successful and dynamic firm. The position will be accountable for providing timely and accurate analytical support for the financial performance of the group.

Major responsibilities
--Prepare reports to summarize current and projected financial information.

--Reconcile data and accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial information

--Analyze vendors for compliance with contracts.

--Perform special projects as assigned.

--Prepare Commission Statements for sales staff.

REQUIREMENTS
--1-3 years experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
--Great Plains background
--Advanced Excel Skills
--Highly analytical, detail-oriented and meticulously accurate
