Financial Analyst

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for all budgeting and forecasting activities, and supporting the monthly close for all Operations and Engineering departments. This person will work with Cost Accounting and Operations leadership to analyze and explain financial performance (gross margin; cost center performance). Develop forecasts for gross margin / cost of goods sold for specific product lines. Coordinate production planning with Marketing and Operations. Analyze and report on financial performance for Engineering - cost center financial performance and project financial performance. Develop ROI analysis in support of new product development projects and financial business partners. Work closely with designated departments to insure compliance with company goals and objectives. Proactively develop and implement consistent and effective financial reporting. Assist with the preparation of Board of Directors schedules and other presentations. Assist with the implementation of forecasting software and provide training to business owners as needed. Work with Information Systems to proactively improve reporting methods.
