Director of Finance

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $85,000 to $95,000 per year The Finance Director will develop policies and procedures relative to the organization's accounting practices and oversee the activities of the general and property accounting, internal auditing, and budgetary controls functions: consolidate capital assets and maintenance and operating budgets, checking appropriation requests against approved budgets; exercise accounting control to ensure budgeted expenditures to not exceed authorized amounts; conduct research and complex studies involving financial analysis, strategic planning and economic projections; direct, consolidate, and analyze cost accounting procedures and other reports; initiate studies; provide guidance on real estate matters; research and develop various types of financing; analyze government policies and programs; and assist with auditing projects.Founded in 1948, Robert Half Finance & Accounting pioneered financial recruitment and today is the worldwide leader in the field.
