1. Serves as an assistant to the Cost Control Manager. Provides assistance in the development of training, policy, procedures, and execution in the pursuit and maintenance of a DOD Compliant Earned Value Management System within the frame work of the PIMS. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Developing, revising, or implementing policies and procedures as they relate to Cost Controls. Developing and conducting internal training related to project management techniques. Advising management of non-conformant situations or practices relative to EVMS. Tracking and reporting progress against implementation schedules and recommending corrective/remedial actions where appropriate.EGGCB20

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Level E5:
Incumbent must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Masters Degree and 4 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Ph.D. and 2 years relevant work experience OR 14 years equivalent specialized training and work experience.Level E6:
Incumbent must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Masters Degree and 6 years equivalent specialized training and work experience OR Ph.D. and 4 years specialized training and work experience OR 16 years equivalent specialized training and work experience.In addition, an incumbent at either level must also be able to demonstrate experience and additional training in a discipline outside the academic area of study. Such training would be in the area of compliance or project/program management. Incumbent must demonstrate a minimum of 6 years (10+ years highly desirable) of project/program management experience at least 5 of which have been in a DOD (Department of Defense) validated EVMS with participation in a successfully completed system validation. Incumbent must demonstrate a working knowledge of DODI EVMS, CPR, and CSSR Reporting requirements.
