Consumer Protection Investigator 1 Help shape Wisconsin's transportation future by directing and coordinating the statewide investigation program regulating Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement practices and investigating civil and criminal complaints against Inter- and Intrastate Commercial Motor Vehicle Carriers and drivers. Starting pay for these NON-SWORN positions is $13.493 per hour plus excellent benefits. The register established from this recruitment will be used to fill 4 vacancies plus additional vacancies which may occur in the next 6-12 months. Travel may be extensive. A comprehensive training program that includes both classroom and field training is required. A thorough background check will be completed. Qualified applicants will have investigative and interviewing techniques; ability to interpret written materials and explain them to others; knowledge of civil and criminal justice systems; and strong oral and written communication skills.
