Business Analyst

Amerco's other significant holdings include U-Haul® International and Republic Western Insurance Company.Duties include- Identifies simple to average business requirements, evaluates alternative solutions and translates solutions into specifications suitable for the development or maintenance of Genelco (Life Support System) management systems. Translates end user computing requirements for use by the Information Technology Department. Develops and implements test plans. Regularly meets with the Director to review progress and problems related to the job.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Under supervision, works with business partners and systems personnel to identify new business workflow or recommends changes to current processes to enhance their effectiveness. Produces project documentation including system requirements and testing plans. Communicates system changes and processes to appropriate personnel, documenting any processes as necessary. Communicates discrepancies determined in testing to impacted areas and monitors resolution. Tests system changes accurately to insure system efficiency, integrity, productivity and maintainability. Sets appropriate goals and priorities to meet objectives established by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years Life and Annuity Insurance Experience. Microsoft Windows NT, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
