Location: Baltimore/Washington DC area

My client is looking for an Associate to problem solve and evaluate disposition options available for Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties reaching the 15-year period.
Duties of the position areLead the disposition effort for 15-year properties in the portfolioAssess strategies for disposition – transferring property, reinvesting, refinancing, re-syndication, lease - purchase of the affordable housing portfolioConduct negotiations on dispositionsPrepare reporting documentation and deal packagesContribute to financial models, database processes and data sharingUse closing techniques to resolve dispositionsConduct training, provide technical support and present proposed deals to committee members
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Real Estate, Finance or related field Low Income Tax Credit experienceMinimum of three - four years of directly related experienceLow Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and real estate investment expertiseComputer skills with Microsoft productFinancial analysis skills and expertise interpreting legal documents including partnership agreements
