Analyst
Support the International compensation team in major projects and processes through data analysis, market survey completion and management, job evaluation, and corporate governance. Perform market data analysis to support international compensation programs.Assist in ensuring Corporate Governance standards are followed in pay administration, and assist in enforcing pay guidelines. Support International Compensation team with Total Remuneration Review (TRR) and Global Positioning Strategy Process (GPSP) processes.Complete market surveys and manage Global Survey Library (GSL).Coordinate Expatriate annual performance increase and bonus process.Responds to annual compensation surveys, extracts, summarizes pay data, communicates with survey administrators to verify data, and communicates survey results to Int’l Comp team. Partner with regional manager on developing expat packages (repatriations, localization, new assignment, extension of assignment).Assist in program designs.Perform job evaluations utilizing Hay Methodology.Develop and maintain expatriate database.Maintain up-to-date International Compensation documents (OCRA< Officer Listing, International Executives, Expat files, Int’l Org chars, Job evaluation database)Work with regional managers on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, and implementation and follow-up of new programs.Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects, as needed or directed.
REQUIREMENTS
BS-Business or Finance/Accounting1-2 years related experienceTechnical skills: Strong analytical background and aptitude. Ability to consistently deliver accurate and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to concisely synthesize data from a variety of sources into potential solutions. Expert Excel, Word user. Proficient in relational databases.Communications skills: Articulate and persuasive in both written and oral communications. Able to establish effective working relationships with “customers”, team members and support functions.Project management skills: Able to effectively support on multiple projects with general supervision.Interpersonal skills: Tactful self-confidence, having the interpersonal skills necessary to challenge associates at any level without offending.Potential to handle progressively more complex projects and move to a higher level of responsibility in the Compensation Department, or other departments in the People Division.Flexibility of thought and approachAppreciation of diverse cultures and value systems.Ability to integrate Wal-Mart’s strategies in new environments.
