Accounts Payable Manager

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

We are currently working with a publicly traded restaurant operator in Orange County on an Accounts Payable Manager position. This individual will manage all accounts payables activities, and lead the team (approximately 25) on all department initiatives and participates with coaching, training and mentoring all team members. The Accounts Payable Manager works with general accounting to ensure proper recording of expenses, prompt resolution of payment issues, and strong internal controls (SOX compliance).
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years AP experience with bookkeeping and accounting background is required.
- Strong management skills, managing a team of at least 10.
- Experience in a medium to large company with a high volume of invoices.
- Proficient computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel and ERP system, PeopleSoft a plus.
- Bachelors degree
