ACCOUNTING REP, SENIOR for credit

Assist the members, staff and vendors by providing efficient, accurate service within the guidelines of the credit union policies and procedures. Assure that as duties are completed within the established time frames upholding member service and avoiding additional expenses.This position will have the responsibility of reconciling assigned complex General Ledgers accounts monthly as assigned by the Acctg. Manager. Record and process investment activity and maintain investment files. Maintain prepaid and deferred expense files. Assist in the preparation of month end financial statements, closing journal vouchers, updating of accounting procedures for all positions within the department, training and cross training staff. This individual should have an Associates of Arts/Science degree with a major in Accounting. Also required would be basic and intermediate accounting courses and two years of credit union/banking accounting experience or 5 years of progressively more responsible accounting experience.
