Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator

SCS Engineers is looking for a full-time individual to perform daily operations and lab testing at the BKK Landfill Leachate Treatment Plant in West Covina, CA.A mechanical background involved with compressors, pumps, and controls is desired to perform necessary repairs. Other requirements include the ability to climb ladders, lift a minimum of 50 pounds and have good communication, customer service, problem solving and organizational skills.
REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma and a minimum of one year of full-time wastewater operator experience and/or a California Wastewater Treatment (WWTP) Operators license (Grade 1) is required.
Knowledge of CA DTSC regulations of plant O&M is desirable.This position is required to work a shift that may include part of the weekend and rotating shifts as required.
