Technician I This position supports two campus locations: The Art Institute of CA – Orange County and Argosy University – Orange County.
The IT department is very team oriented. The team operates in a very honest, straight forward, service oriented and efficient manner. The focus of this job is to provide support and maintenance for computer equipment across the schools.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:
•Perform equipment maintenance activities in a timely and efficient manner, to maximize availability to faculty and students.
•Troubleshoot and maintain all equipment in assigned area(s)
•Respond to student and employee questions and problems.
•Schedule and train student workers
•Maintain updated inventory records on all equipment
•Assist in 12th week periodic maintenance.
•Assist Technology Support Supervisor with maintaining the use of appropriate software programs in widespread usage by students and the Art Institute.

POSITION KEY SKILLS:
•Extremely customer service oriented
•Ability to solve unstructured problems
•Flexible to work on multiple projects and pitch in when neededJob Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
2-5 years experience in basic troubleshooting, PC, MAC, AV equipment

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Associates degrees or higher preferred. CompTIA certification preferred or applicable technical experience.
