Job Description:

• Lead the Facilities Function within the respective Brand & support the Brand Leadership Team.
o Regularly meet with the Operations team to gain alignment, provide facilities related updates and gather feedback on existing initiatives.
o Respond to field concerns and questions with a customer mania mindset.
o Demonstrate high visibility leadership by providing unit level coaching during routine field visits.

• Achieve R&M (Repair & Maintenance) expense & capital plans.
o Develop and establish the R&M plans working with respective planning teams.
o Utilize the Asset Planning Assessment process to create and execute Region capital plans.
o Execute all spending in accordance with the Yum! Brands Purchasing Policy.
o Partner with other Yum! Brands Facility Leaders to integrate “One-System Vendor Leadership” into all spending practices.
o Serve as point person to ensure R&M and Capital plan is implemented, measured, reported and delivered.
o Manage all reoccurring contracts and property loss projects.

• Support Development Partners
o Support Remodel Construction Manager (RCM) partners and ensure quality outcomes of all remodel projects.
o Participate in pre-construction, release to Operations, & 11 month warranty inspections.
o Strategically deploy capital and expense funds in planned replacement restaurants.

• Execute all National Projects as assigned.
o Work with Operations, Marketing and Facility Services to insure all projects are flawlessly executed.

• Drive improvement of “M” (Maintenance) scores as measure by customer and internal means.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree Preferred: Bachelors

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical knowledge in mechanical, architecture, civil engineering or constructive science, coupled with 5 years minimum retail construction management and/or facility management.
• Demonstrated negotiating skills, financial decision skills with the ability to accomplish objectives that require cooperation from numerous cross functional departments.
• Ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Operations experience a plus!
