Senior Security Manager

You will be responsible for Overseeing the management, organization, budget planning and supervision of the Corporate Security staff. Coordinating audits that are performed by DSS and other governmental agencies to determine if the Corporation is operating in accordance with established procedures. Preparing documentation (Secret documents, closed areas, classified visits, employee clearance data, etc.) for review. Briefing security representatives on findings and review inspection format and areas of concern.

Overseeing the development and implementation of security plans to ensure that electronic processing of classified information is performed in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Coordinating and review proposed DD 254 (Classifies Contracts) to determine what classified information may be released in accordance with prime contractor/subcontractor agreement. Managing the Security Clearance Process to oversee the processing of new hires and electronically track all Security clearances and report status. Ensuring Security clearances that are no longer required or that the Security clearances of employees who leave the company are terminated. Interpreting security requirements and contractual obligations concerning classified information. Reviewing contract proposals for security requirements; cost analysis, manpower and budget impact on the Division. Effectively communicate security requirements throughout the Corporation, primarily with division/department security representatives through briefings and discussions. Ensuring compliance with Company and contractual security obligations. Interfacing with internal divisions, from executive level down, to ensure consistent and cost effective security measures are implemented. Managing the overall operation of the Access Control Center, visitor processing both classified and unclassified, Information Security, Access Control Planning, badging for all employees, Secret documents, etc. to ensure access is granted in accordance with the NISPOM and Corporate procedures. Interfacing with external customers (DSS, FBI, GSA) to satisfy their requirements for the protection of classified or unclassified sensitive information entrusted to the Corporation. Continually enhance the Corporate Security Program.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years experience or a Master’s degree and 8+ years experience is required. Must have experience implementing and interpreting the security policies, procedures and directives of the Department of Defense (DoD), National Industrial Security Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. Must have basic knowledge of computer systems, their components, and their relationship to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements. A strong working knowledge of eQIP and JPAS is desired. Experience in the use of desktop computing and basic office equipment is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Other requirements include: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with employees of all levels of management, have strong organizational and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Top Secret Clearance required.
