Sanitation Manager

Volt Professional Placement is presently assisting a USDA organization in identifying an experienced and talented Sanitation Manager. Qualified professionals will be responsible for leading the management and implementation of the Sanitation Program. The Manager will develop, maintain and evaluate sanitation operating procedures and provide training to necessary employees. The Sanitation Manager will also serve as a technical liaison between factory personnel, the sanitation supplier, the quality assurance and the third party sanitation provider. You will also have the responsibility of creating a safe working environment by developing a structured and orderly chemicals storage system within the plant. Requirements:

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sanitation Manager within the food manufacturing industry and a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Candidates must have exceptional organizational and time management skills and multi-tasking capability as well as the ability to work well independently and exercise professional judgment with minimal day-to-day supervision. Other requirements include: outstanding interpersonal skills; training skills; intermediate technical skill level using Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet; the ability to successfully communicate verbally with internal staff, external customers and field employees; and the ability to successfully communicate in writing.
