Respiratory Therapists - Great Bay Area Facility!!

Kentfield Rehabilitation Hospital, a Vibra Healthcare facility, is Northern California's most comprehensive source of extended acute and rehabilitation, provides specialized inpatient and outpatient programs. We are a 60 bed facility located in beautiful Marin County. The facility itself is nestled in the redwoods next to a great hiking trail that leads to the water, great way to take a mid-shift break.

We are looking for a great Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position does provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The position includes the following job functions:

1.Mechanical ventilator monitoring
2.Administration of nebulized aerosols
3.Performance of electrocardrograms and pulmonary function testing
4.Respiratory equipment monitoring including pulse oximetry
5.Patient education in pulmonary rehabilitation
6.Arterial blood gas puncture and analysis Monitoring of patient vital signs
7.Monitoring of patient vital signs
8.Equipment calibration
9.Chest physiotherapy
10.Patient breathing retraining
11.Oxygen administration
12.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation


We need one full time (40 hours, 8 hour shifts) night shift and one eve shift RT. Rotating week-ends. $5000 Sign On Bonus.

REQUIREMENTS
1.Education
Completion with certification of an accredited Respiratory Care Practitioner program.

2.Professional Experience
A certified or registered Respiratory Care Practitioner with experience in general intensive and rehabilitation aspects of respiratory care.

3.Technical Skills
Demonstrates proficiency in the clinical application of the respiratory therapy department’s policies and procedures.
