GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Primary responsibility is providing expert level support to the users and systems employed by the global Resource Management organization. This role will work with RM management and global RM staff across Covance. This role will be responsible for leading all efforts associated with building, maintaining, acquiring, integrating and implementing systems associated with Resource Management processes. This will include, but is not limited to, helping users develop requirements, database building and maintenance, functional enhancements and general inquiries; training new users and internal customers in the application; harmonizing the application across Resource Management staffs, including harmonization of training manuals and materials; serving as liaison with global IT and vendors regarding support and software optimization. Requires an individual to have an advanced level of expertise across the systems and applications associated with Resource Management.Qualifications
B.S. degree in relevant subject; 4-6 years related experience (e.g., Resource Management, Project Management). Experience/other related education may be substituted.Advanced level computer skills; Usage and experience in basic programming logic and database structure; Advanced skills in Microsoft applications and Excel. Advanced skills in the application and use of estimation software application(s).
