Relief Operator/Maintenance Technician

Relief Operator/Maintenance Technician WV-American Water is seeking applicants for a Relief Operator/Maintenance Technician. General responsibilities include unloading bulk chemicals, water treatment testing and analysis, operation of SCADA systems, operation of residual processing facility and participate in treatment operations. Must be able to progress towards ability to operate and maintain Class IV Treatment Facility. Requirements: High school graduate or hold equivalent certificate, must possess a non-restricted Class III Water Plant Operators License from the State of West Virginia, and must have 90 educational CEUs and successfully pass Class IV Operator's exam within one (1) year of eligibility to take the exam (two {2} years prior to completing minimum experience requirements). Must possess or obtain within the first six (6) months, fluoride certification from the State of West Virginia. Successfully complete a Pulmonary Function Test, two (2) years electrical/controls experience, must have and maintain valid driver license.
