Production Team Leader - Facilities/Maintenance

Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: FacilitiesResponsibilities: Provide 1st shift operational leadership support and direction of facilities/maintenance team. Accelerate & support cultural change efforts & achieve organizational goals. Implement actions to improve department performance and maximize workforce capability ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely manner. Promote Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodology in managing maintenance performance and process improvement striving to achieve a World Class Maintenance Organization. Support environmental, health and safety site goals, serving on teams and leading functions within the safety program (Training).
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 4 years production or facilities maintenance experience, or 7 years maintenance management experience.
Minimum 4 years production or facilities maintenance experience.
Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
Computerized Maintenance Management System experience.Desired: * Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Prior Leadership Experience in a union environment
Strong interpersonal skills, as this position interfaces with all levels of the organization, including cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Datastream 7i applicationsGeneral: Join a dynamic maintenance organization supporting manufacturing processes for X-Ray tube and Detector businesses. This position is located in Milwaukee and offers an opportunity to create a World Class Maintenance Organization.
