Plant Superintendent
Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an experienced Plant Superintendent at its facility in Richmond, VA.
In this position, the Plant Superintendent will work as part of a two man team supporting two nitrogen plants (300 & 250 MSCFH) supplying semiconductor fabs with CDA, GAN, and UHP Lox, and a nitrogen plant (100 MSCFH), all of which are located in Richmond, VA. Both sites are unattended operation. This position will also do regional vacation relief.
This position reports to the Southeast Region Assistant Production Manager.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- A demonstrated commitment to safety.
- The ability to interface with the customer on technical/supply matters and to build the customer relationship.
- The ability to plan his/her own activities (including maintenance planning) for safe and reliable operation within budget limitations.
The ideal candidate would have experience in the production of nitrogen.
Minimum education is a high school diploma.
