Unit Description:
Seeking Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager for a 365 bed hospital in Los Angeles, CA with 1.5M sq ft cleanable area. Ideal candidate will have previous health care / hospital, or hotel experience in custodial or housekeeping area, understanding of regulatory guidelines, flexibility in work hours and ability to train / mentor/ motivate hourly staff. Seeking Bilingual candidates, the ability to communicate in Spanish would be helpful in managing this workforce. Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling hourly employees while maintaining customer, client and patient satisfaction and good public relations. Excellent career opportunity for candidate with some previous management experience, attention to detail, and solid client management skills. Flexibility with schedulePosition Summary:
Number two position at the account with responsibility for all operations. Assumes GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Supervises managers. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.Basic Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or GEDBasic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
1 year of lead/supervisory/management experienceBasic Functional Experience Required:
1 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
