Responsible for all aspects of facilities security including the day-to-day supervision of contract security guard forces, visitor access control, and security briefings of new employees; development of emergency evacuation plans; security clearance applications and files;review of background investigations, foreign travel applications and briefings as required. Maintain compliance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AA&E) regulations and other Department of Defense and company requirements.
Required Education:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.
Required Work Experience:
6-8 years experience in physical security, visitor and access control, with significant experience in the defense contractor environment working with classified material. Familiarity with NISP, AA&E. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Prior experience as Facilities Security Officer.
Other Desirable Requirements:
Prior experience working for a defense contractor or military experience. Current Secret level clearance preferred.
