Mechanic/Operator- ASH- (Non-Exempt)

All Saints' places our patients first and strives to ensure every experience with All Saints Healthcare is a positive one.Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Management Team independently performs the following major duties: monitors the operation of assigned utility or departmental equipment in the Programmed Maintenance System and maintains appropriate records; troubleshoots and makes corrective repairs to various utility and departmental equipment; monitors and operates central boiler and chiller equipment; performs other general maintenance/operation duties as required. Work is performed on a particular shift, although alternate shifts and days of work may be scheduled.
REQUIREMENTS
High School graduate with a City of Racine First Class Stationary Engineer's License (a 3rd Class License is acceptable provided a 1st Class is obtained within 36 months of hire). Two or more years experience to gain the ability to operate, install, troubleshoot and make repairs associated with the at least 3 of the following trades: 1) electrical controls and/or electrical distribution; 2) plumbing and piping for steam, water, sewage, air and medical gases; 3) mechanical experience on bearings, seals, and pumps including alignment and rebuilding; 4) heating, cooling and refrigeration (HVAC/R) 5) rough and finish carpentry and millwork; 6) boiler/chiller operation & repairs.
