Maintenance Supervisor Kickapoo

Maintenance Supervisor Kickapoo Valley Cheese, a cheese slicing operation located in central Wisconsin, is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to head our maintenance team. Responsibilities will include supervision of all maintenance employees, maintaining maintenance inventory records to assure adequate supplies for maintaining all plant and equipment and working closely with the management team to assure timely production and meeting of orders. Effectively coordinate and use available resources to cost effectively plan, repair, install and maintain all manufacturing equipment, plant and grounds maintenance, rebuilding and overhauling equipment and machine parts, and troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment. Maintaining Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules. Individual will not be directly responsible for budget issues but will be expected to address specific ledger activity costs within departmental reporting. The Supervisor will be expected to provide leadership, training and knowledge to the maintenance team. Individual must have a wide technical knowledge to the maintenance team. Individual must have a wide technical knowledge in electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, machining, welding and general maintenance. Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience in a high-speed industrial environment a plus. Must have skills in leadership, coaching, decision making, and facilitating change, delegating and follow-up in order to successfully provide support of all plant facilities working with the maintenance team. Pay is based upon experience and qualifications. Some overtime, weekends and oncall. Benefits available include health, dental, vision and life insurances, 401K, vacation and paid holidays.
