Maintenance Mechanic, Lead

Under minimum supervision, diagnoses, troubleshoots, installs, repairs, and reassembles, complex equipment.
Provides leadership to coworkers as required.
Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, fabrication and assembly, and completes routine paperwork as required.
Maintains a safe and debris-free work environment by maintaining a knowledge of, and following company safety rules, SOPs, cGMPs, and FDA mandates, as required, reporting unsafe acts, facility and/or equipment damage to management, participating in safety programs and training, and reviewing line safety checks with personnel, relaying information to line operators, as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade school credits preferred.
Minimum five years general maintenance experience required. Prior lead/supervision experience required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills required, in English.
Demonstrated ability to use calculators, copiers, computers, typical mechanic's tools and inspection gages, and operating production equipment required.
Ability to sketch, read work orders and simple blueprints, and work from drawings required.
