Maintenance Manager

Holcim (US) has an immediate opening(s) for self-starting, results-oriented experienced Maintenance Manager(s) at the following facilities: Morgan, UT plant; Birmingham, AL plant and Mason City, IA plant.
Position Responsibilities Include:
•Provide leadership in administering Holcim safety, health, and environmental policies
•Responsible for electrical, mechanical, and specialized maintenance, engineering, and general plant services
•Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the maintenance organization in a manner consistent with company values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals
•Responsible for training, development and involvement of maintenance personnel within all areas of the plant
•Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations for the plant
•Develop maintenance budget and be accountable for results based on defined KPIs
•Use Holcim systems to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance
•Support, demonstrate and facilitate the concepts of continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based, high performance organization
•Determine appropriate staffing and skill levels for the area
•Use Holcim tools and standards to implement a reliability-centered maintenance program
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and have had 5+ years of combined management level and cement industry experience in a supervisory/managerial role. Understanding of and experience with reliability centered maintenance and condition monitoring, and maintenance planning and systems implementation is required. Candidate will have demonstrated effective leadership, delegation, coaching and interpersonal skills, be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) with demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on available information.
