Maintenance Electrician

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN
The M. C. Gill Corporation (www.mcgillcorp.com), a manufacturer of high performance composite products since 1945, seeks a highly motivated individual to join our maintenance department as an Electrician. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and detail-oriented individual who will work under minimal supervision.
This position is responsible for:
•Planning, laying out, installing, and repairing electrical equipment including: automatic and process controls, switch boards, control centers and panels, relay circuit breakers electronic controls., etc
•Set up secondary distribution centers, balances loads, wires or lays out the wiring of complex circuits with large number of connections
•Replaces or repairs parts, detects and replaces defective control modules, tests and makes adjustments
•Checking and maintaining process control equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
This Position Requires:
High school diploma or equivalent, minimum 10 years related experience in industrial electrical work.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, team orientation with a positive attitude to get the job done.

Experience with PLC’s and process controls is required.

Must be willing to do any work related to machine breakdown and repair, plumbing, etc. Along with installing and repairing electrical equipment new and existing.

Work hours are 8:00 am. To 4:30 p.m. Must be willing to work overtime, Saturdays and occasional Sundays as needed.
