Maintenance Technician
OFS Fitel, a leader in optical innovations located in Avon, CT. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help support our continued business growth. The selected candidate's primary duties will include diagnosing electrical and logic problems on production equipment as well as supporting equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
Interested candidates must have relevant coursework/certification from a college/technical institute or equivalent demonstrated work experience. Must be experienced with motors/drives, high voltage equipment & industrial controls, the ability to read electrical & mechanical schematics, familiarity with PLC controls, a solid mechanical aptitude, computer literacy (Word, Excel) and a minimum of 2 years similar experience is required.
