MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Westfield has more than 43 years of experience in the shopping center business and employs in excess of 4,000 staff worldwide.Responsible for the maintenance of interior and exterior of mall property, including building structures, systems and equipment. A strong emphasis will be place on one of the following skills: Tile Repair, Painting and Drywall Repair, or Pluming Repair, other associated responsibilities are listed below.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:â?¢Tile repair
â?¢Painting interior/exterior as needed
â?¢Maintain all doors in good working order
â?¢Replace light fixtures and bulbs
â?¢Limited electrical work
â?¢Sign repair and replacement
â?¢Minor curb and parking lot repairs
â?¢Clean roof area
â?¢Perform minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
â?¢Perform minor masonry, asphalt, concrete and fencing repairs.
â?¢Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to mall equipment and building.
â?¢Set-up and take down mall promotions including staging, curtains, chairs and sound systems.
â?¢Communicate information and instructions with management, tenants and invitees.
â?¢Be able to physically reach all areas of the shopping center.
â?¢Operate mall maintenance equipment.
â?¢Monitor required meters and gauges.
â?¢Pick up litter and debris as necessary.
â?¢Wear and maintain uniform.
â?¢Perform other tasks from time to time as required.QUALIFICATIONS:â?¢At least 18 years old.
â?¢Basic mechanical, plumbing and electrical knowledge and experience.
â?¢Read, write and communicate English at acceptable level.
â?¢Valid driverâ??s license.
â?¢Available and willing to work a flexible schedule.
â?¢Lift 50 lbs. to a height of 48 inches at any time.
