The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting the production department by troubleshooting and repairing a variety of equipment efficiently to minimize downtime.
Complete assigned work orders as given issued by Maintenance Leads and Maintenance Manager.
Respond to emergency requests by Team Leads and Production Leads.
Engage in all aspects of “Safety”; food safety, and associate safety daily.
Support all corporate and plant sponsored initiatives; safety, GMPs and work rules.
Ensure security of the stockroom.
Performs other related responsibilities, as needed, to support RPC's business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 7 years experience in a manufacturing environment, food processing is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product safety
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in food manufacturing and how it relates to maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and associate safety, OSHA standards, product quality (success rates), cost-control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield).
Proven knowledge of VFD drives, complex conveyor systems and metal fabrication.
Proficiency with 110v/motor control circuits and low temperature refrigeration systems.
Strong communication skills required.
Strong sense of customer focus.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated understanding of spare parts and their association to use points.
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques.
