Journeyman Maintenance Electrician

ELECTRICIAN The Arizona Republic, the largest metro daily newspaper in Arizona and part of Gannett Co, Inc., the largest newspaper publisher in the U.S. has an immediate opening for an experienced Journeyman Electrician.


We are seeking a qualified candidate with training and aspiration to troubleshoot and maintain electrical and production control systems in our advanced production facilities. The successful candidate will have experience with electrical wiring, drives, motors, and PLCs. Only candidates with a background in production floor electrical controls, conveyors, and other handling systems along with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical equipment and circuitry to the component level will be considered. Some knowledge of presses and printing equipment preferred.

Candidate must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. You must be able to work any shift at any of The Republic's facilities, which are located in Mesa, Deer Valley and Phoenix. Day pay scale is $935/wk with night and lob shift differential.
