IT Site Coordinator- LA & Phoenix

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Summary: Responsible for providing IT support for the Los Angeles and Phoenix sites. This includes PC hardware and software support, server management and maintenance, application support; and local telecommunications support. Managed indirectly by an IT lead, this is more of a self-managed position. A Site Coordinator II is responsible for an IT site budget. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for responding to helpdesk requests generated through phone, e-mail, helpdesk application, etc. This includes problem determination, resolution, escalation, and tracking. Track these requests in standard helpdesk application 2. Works with other members of the IT organization to resolve issues. Monitors and follows-up on issues from site users that were assigned to other IT members 3. Responsible for knowing the customers (site employees) and their needs through understanding their processes, products, services, and industry. This also includes maintaining an ongoing relationship with key employees to help predict customer requirements and measure the quality and effectiveness of IT support 4. Tracks and maintains IT asset inventory for site(s) 5. Assists and participates in the determination, development and implementation of Americas IT projects. This includes involving other IT members, gaining the necessary approvals, and developing or implementing the appropriate plans, standards, training or documentation 6. Responsible for ensuring completion of projects on-time and within budget through the following: monitoring activities of the project thru the use of MS Project, monitoring change control and scope, tracking project costs, and providing management with status information 7. Responsible for maintaining a site specific budget for IT related equipment, and or supplies
REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience, & Skills: 1. Responsible for maintaining a general knowledge of current technologies and information systems practices 2. High School Diploma and 2 year technical training program, or Associates degree in field related to IT 3. Bachelors Degree preferred – within IT related field 4. 2- 4 Years experience performing PC and Information Systems support 5. Demonstrated knowledge of the following: • Windows and Microsoft PC Applications • Networking concepts • E-mail Applications • Telecommunications concepts • PC and server hardware 6. Must be able to manage individual and ongoing projects ATTENTION: This position is required to reside in LA or surrounding area in order to primarily provide support to the Los Angeles, CA facility, but will also travel and support the Phoenix, AZ facility in the same capacity.
