Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional field service engineer to provide world-class service at various hospitals & clinics in the Richmond, VA territory. You will perform upgrades, maintenance, service, upgrades, and repair on core Philips Cardiac, Patient Monitoring, and Clinical Information Systems. It will be your responsibility to maintain excellent customer relationships through effective customer service, timely and efficient installations, service, and maintenance. You will also diagnose and resolve networking problems, close calls, return inventory, provide FCO and PM documentation, etc. In addition, you will be expected to help support the Philips business through the overall promotion of Philips services.

Preferred Profile

At least an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent military education, BS preferred. Minimum 3 years servicing electronic equipment in clinical environments. Experience with Philips or other major OEM’s Cardiac or Patient Monitoring solutions are a plus. Experience with telecommunication systems, as well as a familiarity with DICOM protocols and computer networking is strongly preferred as are any network certifications such as A+, Net+, MCSE, or CCNA. You may be required to be available 24 x 7 via phone or pager and rotate on an on-call status. You must possess a valid driver’s license and hold a good driving record. You must be capable of carrying or pulling test equipment from their company vehicle to and from the hospital or clinic.
