Facility Services Manager - Sanitation AL

As a Food Processing Sanitation Manager, you will be responsible for the activities of the sanitation department to ensure a clean and sanitary work place within a food processing bakery plant. Employees will be responsible for cleaning the food processing equipment in the plant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising, training and scheduling sanitation employees. Schedule and distribute work assignments on a daily basis. Perform weekly inspections, document findings and identify improvements to be made. Practice and comply with all company and customer policies and procedures, including safety and work rules. Perform weekly supply inventory and become familiar with and implement the budget. Prefer local candidates.


Job Requirements


Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree (and/or requisite industry & management experience) as well as the ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services. Previous experience in the bakery industry preferred. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications required. Contract-managed service experience is desirable. Certified through AIB preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Previous lock-out/tag-out experience a plus.
