Facility Resource Coordinator

We are looking for a Facility Resource Coordinator (FRC) to work in critical data center environments that support customer facilities located in the DC Metro area. We are seeking candidates with experience with generators, critical and essential Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), switchgear, chillers, computer grade cooling systems, and DC Power Systems.

Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement project plans and review work performance and products for adherence to standards, schedules and specifications.
•Support Service Management with both technical and administrative tasks related to the overall operation of the critical environment, with direct responsibility for assuring the correctness of all company policies and procedures.
•Perform a variety of analyses and prepare appropriate documentation.
•Responsible for ensuring that operational, maintenance and emergency Methods of Procedures (MOP’s), are developed and strictly adhered to.
•Perform on-site management of sub-contractors and vendors, and schedule all necessary preventative maintenance and emergency repairs; assist in the development and implementation of project plans.
•Perform daily, weekly, and monthly facility walk-through of facilities supporting mission critical centers and office operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•Minimum of seven years of relevant hands-on experience with power, electrical and mechanical equipment including generators, critical and essential Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), switchgear, chillers, computer grade cooling systems, and DC Power Systems.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Must be available to work emergency service and shift work as required.
•Possess a valid driver’s license and transportation that is capable of carrying light hand tools.
•Certain sites may require candidates to obtain security clearances.
•This position involves travel throughout the DC Metro area.
