Facilities Manager
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: FacilitiesResponsibilities: *Primarily responsible for hands- on support of all facilities and equipment needs across 3 shifts
Responsible for directing the design, planning, maintenance, and calibration of equipment, machinery, building, and other facilities
Ensures facilities activities comply with GE and/or government regulations
Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts
Oversees and directs janitorial services
Effectively drives cost reductions in facilities maintenance
Supports site EHS objectives
Responds to requests from management and employees in a timely manner
Responsible for site security
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in Facilities maintenance/ management in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated attention to good EHS practices*Must be willing to take a drug test
Must be willing to submit to a background check, including but not limited to verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
