Executive Housekeeper
BASIC FUNCTIONCleaning the Executive offices, small office repairs and Executive meeting setups/cleanups.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES1. OFFICE HOUSKEEPING
A. The custodian will be responsible for the complete daily cleaning of several Executive offices in
multiple locations while maintaining strict security. Cleaning consists of trash removal,
recycling, dusting, vacuuming, wet and dry mopping, edge vacuuming, carpet grooming, carpet spot removal, chair maintenance, fine furniture upkeep, window cleaning, blind cleaning, and miscellaneous duties.2. PROJECT WORK
A. The custodian will be responsible for servicing the sanitary dispensers located throughout the
Plant.B. The ability to work on high ladders to clean and change lights is required.3. EXECUTIVE MEETING SETUPS OR CLEANUPS
A. Setup, or cleanup of meetings held in any conference or meeting facility at the Kohler campus or the outlying properties. Setups include: perking coffee, selecting beverages according to participants' requests and serving food to meet the customer's requirements. Room arrangements may include providing and or arranging tables, linens, glassware and condiments. Cleanups require an accurate inventory of beverages. The rooms must be arranged and cleaned. The coffee makers and supplies must be cleaned, inventoried, and stored. The supply room refrigerators must be stocked for the following days' schedule.B. Maintain an adequate supply of beverages and condiments.C. Ordering food and specialty items to meet the customer demands.D. Document all costs to provide monthly chargeback Excel spreadsheets.E. Perform other duties as directed by supervision.RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTSSupervisory Relationships:
1. Reports to Group Leader of Sanitation.Organizational Relationships:
1. Contact with executive secretaries, Maintenance supervision and Maintenance Stores.External Business Relationships:
1. Frequent contact with outside vendors.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalent, 2 years experience in housekeeping with mechanical ability. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and experience with Excel is required. Good telephone and communication skills.The successful candidate must be outgoing, polite, trustworthy, and with knowledge of all areas of Kohler, WI and the surrounding area.In addition to the above requirements, the candidate must be able communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of Kohler Co. management. Provide prompt courteous service in a manner that optimizes customer satisfaction while contributing to the positive image of the department. The candidate must be able to take appropriate, correct independent action to meet customers' requests and provide the requested services.
