ELECTRICIAN

ELECTRICIAN Seeking certified electrician for our day shift to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and electronic repairs on all facility and production-related equipment. Will install and maintain electrical supply lines and electronic components, working with external and internal customers in a professional environment. Must have a strong knowledge of industrial electrical components, electronic theory, industrial electrical and electronic equipment, high horsepower motor controls, troubleshooting, and small motor repair. Must be able to read complex electrical/electronic schematics and blueprints and use various types of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-function meters, ampere probes, and megohmeters. Must have good working knowledge of National Electrical Code and be able to use a personal computer. Must be able to distinguish color codes on various electronic and electrical components. Must be able to access difficult-to-reach equipment, lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of up to 50 feet. Must be able to work continuously in a noisy environment with hearing protection and provide 24/7 on call support for facility/production emergencies and provide back up to the facility manager in his absence.
