ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Responsible for accurately pricing projects and bid proposal preparation for profitable procurement of work.

Provide and coordinate full range of electrical estimating services for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Computer skills required - McCormick, Microsoft Office, Excel

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required on a per project basis.

Review and examine project proposal specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine electrical scope of work and electrical estimate requirements.

Prepare and provide complete and accurate conceptual (or bid work) and final estimate detail for bid proposals.

Provide technical support to personnel assisting with bid proposal preparation.

Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to support estimate detail.

Maintain contact and good working relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors as needed to ensure the accuracy of the bid detail and requirements.

Work with project management personnel (post award) to assist in transitioning bid proposal detail to job costing formats.

Work under direction of Department Manager for work assignments, timely completion and performance requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
