Vice President of Development

The Altman Companies is seeking a Vice President of Development.The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Business or Engineering with an emphasis on Investment Analysis, Residential Planning, Construction and Real Estate Analysis. An advanced degree, M.B.A. or other would be preferable.

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in the area of development of residential rental housing. This experience should include macro & micro market analysis, site selection & negotiation, feasibility analysis, financing, rezoning, planning, site plan approval process, HUD & Housing Agency processing, Tax Credit Processing, due diligence studies, acquisition of existing properties, sales of assets and presentations to Lenders. Candidate should have developed business plans and successfully managed their implementation to meet the planned objectives at both the project and corporate level.
