Vice President of Community Marketing Programs - Redmond, WA

Position Summary -



This position is responsible to direct and exceed tours, revenue, and/or performance budgets for Trendwest Resorts, Inc.

1. Community Marketing Program (OPC)

2. Welcome Center Operations



This includes the following:



1. Create the Community Marketing Program (OPC) within the Trendwest model and culture.

2. Develop and structure the operational platform, including SOPs, organizational chart, and systems to support the future growth.

3. Integrate the program into the company's regional system.

4. Continually assess the profitability of operations (efficiency, cost control, channel optimization) and provide recommendations to senior management for improvements and corrective action.

5. Drive improvement in profitability by driving focused performance-based initiatives at the direction of the Senior Management.

6. Identify areas of opportunity and risk to help manage towards the strategic and tactical objectives of the business.

7. Proactively assessing operations and driving initiatives and change across the Marketing operations.

8. Development and supervision of multiple teams, development of field and corporate staff, and the ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization.



Description of duties, responsibilities and essential functions % Time





1. Create and grow the OPC program into a major marketing 45%

program within the Trendwest day drive marketing model,

using the current regional structure.



2. Assess the status of active CMP and No-Hook tour programs   10%

and Welcome Center compare with what should be occurring.

Set priorities for resource allocation based on the greatest

profit potential.



3. Oversee the audit of weekly reports and compilation of data 10%

from all sites on CMP and No-Hook location production and

individual marketer production. Identify data problems and

initiate corrective actions as required to ensure accurate

reporting company-wide.



4 Advise in the assessment of company requirements for talent 5%

for site CMP and WC managers. Develop individual and

Management training programs(s) to help ensure there is

adequate talent in the pipeline for company growth needs.



5.Work with the Regional Marketing VP's and Corporate 15%

leadership to determine the greatest CMP and No-Hook

opportunities and secure a commitment to the strategy most

likely to produce the desired results in each. Review greatest

opportunities based on season and immediate potential.



6. Work with other sales, marketing, and recruiting program managers 10%

in corporate and the field to effectively create action plans and

implementation schedules. Implement as necessary and advise

field personnel in removing obstacles to successful

action plan implementation.



7. Produce publications as required to motivate continued improvement 5%

in this area of the business. Choose relevant topics to produce the

maximum motivational effect.

REQUIREMENTS




1. Minimum Qualifications Required - Describe the amount and type of education and experience required to perform the essential job functions, including any required certifications or professional licenses:

Bachelor's degree in business or commensurate industry experience is required Five (5) years of marketing management experience with three (3) years of multi-disciplinary leadership experience required Must have a proven track record of developing and successfully implementing sales operation programs, as well as developing a leadership team Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise with Excel required. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient/timely manner within matrixed organization across multiple geographic locations. The ability to work as a business partner with both internal and external clients An in-depth knowledge of business drivers and site processes to ensure accurate planning, and identification of variances and potential business issues Strong presentation and communication skills, as well as solid business acumen and judgment.





2. Preferred Qualifications - Describe any additional education and experience that you would like to see in this position, but that is not required for the position:

Timeshare experience is preferred Master's in Business Administration (or equivalent / commensurate knowledge) is preferred
