Vice President of Purchasing
JOB SUMMARY:Must have residential and or commercial construction experience.
Responsible for overseeing Urban purchasing related activities, from preliminary budget forecasting through project buy-out and budget maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ability to work well with others, individually and/or in a team environment. Must have the ability to perform under pressure and to prioritize. Investigate and implement cost saving initiatives, products and processes. Ensure accurate cost estimates are developed and maintained at all times. Ensure that purchasing is at the most competitive levels available. Must be diligent in budgeting, planning, coordination, construction and cost control of urban construction. Must partner with various departments including forward planning, architecture, sales and warranty departments to ensure seamless rollout and transition of all residential projects. Must work well with architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors. Excellent attendance is a must. Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
