Vice President Consumer Products

Job Category: Global Funds Transfer/Vice President Consumer ProductsGeneral Responsibilities: This position will manage the product strategy and future of Global Funds Transfer Domestic products (Money Transfer, Money Order and Prepaid Cards). This position closely interfaces with the sales channel in determining trending and industry changes to effectively adapt product models to incorporate changing market conditions. In addition, the position will work closely with Marketing and New Product Development to effectively incorporate marketing initiatives and integrate new product offerings and additions.Performs market/competitive product research in support of product definition, prioritization and implementation for various markets.Manages product costing, tiering and life cycles with focus on profitability. Assist in developing sustainable processes to improve speed of delivery of product specifics into New Product Development.Researches and develops business cases, strategies for new products and ramp downs for declining products. Close interaction with Marketing and New Product Development to maximize marketing value and preparation for new product delivery to sales channels.Meets with customer and field representatives to gather information, identify needs and assess opportunities to help identify product-planning opportunities. Participates in business discussions related to product P&L. Analyze data from multiple sources, integrate this information and formulate impactful strategic and tactical plans.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 15 years of related work experience (Required).

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred.
Good use of electronic tools including productivity enhancements (wireless, remote access), as well as presentation, analysis, and communication tools (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office)(Required).
Ability to adapt/respond quickly to change/new information(Required).
Must be able to understand the sales environment in order to interpret market data, work with Brand managements, and position products(Required).
Must be able to demonstrate an ability to disseminate information in a concise and clear way. Communicate effectively with the field, customers, and internal partners(Required).

Ability to handle large number of diverse tasks and display good project management skills(Required).
Travel 45-50% (Required).
