Vice President, Fair Lending Compliance Officer IVThis position is responsible for coordinating, performing, documenting and supervising the risk analysis of financial, operational, governance and/or regulatory data to identify indicators of potential regulatory violation patterns or trends including understated APRs, discriminatory marketing, redlining, potential disparate treatment by steering, in pricing, terms or conditions, in underwriting, or any overt indicators of discrimination. Key functions include providing detailed analysis of fair lending/compliance issues as they relate to each business unit, including a full review of all policies/procedures, ensuring that the Bank is in compliance with all of its own policies, as well as with federal laws, regulations and requirements related to fair lending/compliance. The successful candidate will be relied on to provide guidance in the avoidance of reputation risk of the bank for patterns of regulatory violations, overt discrimination or predatory lending through assessment and testing of adequate controls. Other duties will include managing staff; furnishing analysis, recommendations and information to Bank management regarding compliance; and advising management of Fair Lending and Compliance risks regarding possible appropriate preventative and corrective actions.Requirements:

BA/BS degree preferred.

5+ years in mortgage banking/financial services.

3+ years in a fair lending/compliance specialized role/environment.

Management experience preferred

Professional designation or legal degree a plus.

Expertise in fair lending field.

Strong knowledge of business, industry and fair lending issues.

Ability to analyze and synthesize information in order that creative strategies and solutions can be developed and implemented to strengthen regulatory controls.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal/written communication skills with ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.

Outstanding management and leadership skills.
