We are currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner/Eastern Region to join our Americas Human Resources Group located in Washington DC. SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER/EASTERN REGION - Washington DC Responsibilities: Provide optimal levels of HR partnership and support to multiple business lines, leveraging strong national platform with local market service delivery Partner with HR leadership and BU leadership to build, grow and enhance framework related to successful new business development and employee transitions as a result of growth Collaborate actively with central shared/specialty services with subject matter expertise, such as Compensation and Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Systems, and HRIS (Peoplesoft) Refine and deliver integrated HR programs, including talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and compensation Ensure a pipeline of viable external candidates is identified and recruited for all open positions and key roles within the Washington DC Market Manage the successful on-boarding process for all new employees within the Washington DC Market Participate in the Regional Talent Review/Succession Planning process for the Washington DC Market, collaborating with peers and business leaders; Identify tools, such as executive coaching or mentoring, to support talent pipeline within and outside of the Washington DC Market Facilitate HR programs/activities that enhance a culture of inclusiveness and diversity, linking development and leadership initiatives to business strategy and measurable results Actively participate in BU Executive Committees, Diversity Council, and other groups as appropriate Know what and how to measure results of various HR activities, effectively utilizing existing dashboards and responding to the dynamic needs of our clients Participate actively in the other HR projects as business needs dictate
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree with major concentration in related field; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 10 years experience in client-focused HR generalist role, experience in services sector a strong positive Effective strategist and practitioner with a solid track record of successful execution of HR programs Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization, gaining and maintaining credibility Change catalyst, balancing urgency and client responsiveness with methodology and discipline Solid foundation in process excellence and project management, Six Sigma training is a plus High energy influencer, capable of leadership and management within and outside of HR Exceptional communication and presentation skills Data-driven, fact-based decision maker Current understanding/application of leading HR practices yet capable and willing to synthesize information and use terms consistent with existing business strategy Financial/business acumen Sense of humor!
