Regional Vice President

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: SalesResponsibilities: The RVP has P&L responsibility for overall performance of the assigned region. Provides first-line leadership and coaching to Production Managers, BDRs and BDAs, and second line to Territory Managers. Responsible for business planning and development in assigned market segments and new business development and emerging market intelligence.Holds P&L responsibility for overall performance of the assigned region.
Provides first-line leadership and coaching to Production Managers, BDRs and BDAs, and second line to Territory Managers.
Responsible for business planning and development in assigned market segments.
Responsible for new business development and emerging market intelligence.
Second-line responsibility for credit risk management and quality within assigned region - primary line responsibility under VP of Operations.
Works collaboratively with other Divisional leadership (i.e. Operations VP, Sales Managers) and other functional leaders within the Division.
Directly responsible for sales staffing, recruiting and retention.
Ensures staff understands and adheres to company policies and procedures.
Responsible for managing professional relationships with WMC's client base.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of WMC's loan programs, procedures, lending guidelines, and technological resources.
Ensures data integrity by driving internal quality control procedures.~hj~

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Business field or equivalent experience.
5 years sales experience in the mortgage industry.
Proven track record of achieving loan production goals.
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Extensive knowledge of sub-prime lending requirements and mortgage banking as it relates to the credit and funding processes.
Excellent planning and problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Strong Financial Management knowledge.
Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Knowledge of residential lending legal and regulatory issues required.
Familiarity with systems and quality assurance.
Competent software skills and knowledge in e-mail, Internet, MS Word and Excel.
