Operations Supervisor

Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL), founded in 1951 to provide warehousing services to the printing and manufacturing industries in Nashville, has evolved into a full service 3PL providing supply chain management solutions including warehousing, transportation, technology and people to companies nationwide. Today OHL is ranked as the largest privately held 3PL in the country. Due to our continued growth and success we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Operations Supervisor in our Fontana facility. This position is primarily responsible for: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in warehouse by performing the following duties. Advise employees on care and preservation if items received, stored or shipped. Other duties include interviewing, hiring, training, rewarding, disciplining and performance appraisals
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will possess: undergraduate degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees. Good math skills including basic algebra and geometry. Experience with SAP a plus.
