REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience•Successful management of sales teams marketing to higher education institutions
•Proven ability to effectively organize, motivate, and mentor sales managers and team members in a “bottom up” organization structure where the sales teams are expected to develop and execute franchise development plans for assigned institutions within their sales territories
•Proven collaborative management style with peer executives in other sales and operational divisions and ability to reach sale goals through a geographically dispersed sales teamQualifications:Highly driven, self-motivated, person with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed expectations individually and as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or other related field, MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred, 10+ years experience in sales and marketing on a national level, 5+ years in a senior marketing and position in medium to large entity managing a large staff, past success in establishing, tracking and managing sales teams that focus on generating asset sales, experience and understanding from the financial service industry, excellent verbal, written, presentation, proven expertise relative to reporting needs, metrics, and industry data, managerial/leadership, strategic management and tactical planning skills required. Prior experience managing teams in a large 4000 + employee company.Travel is required, ideal candidate living in D.C. area or willing to relocate to D.C.
